1. Do you provide bed linens and towels?
Yes, bed linens and towels are provided at NO additional cost.
2. How is the total price calculated?
The total price for the property rental is the rate indicated on the website. The prices indicated on the website are per accommodation and per week and vary according to the different seasons: high, middle and low.
3. Are there any additional costs to be paid?
All additional costs (gas, electricity, water, final cleaning, linens, towels, etc.) are included in the total price. The price remains the same regardless of the number of guests, whereby the maximum occupancy limits must be kept in mind. (Exceptions may be granted upon request.)
4. What is the down payment required to confirm my reservation?
To confirm your reservation, you are required to pay 20% of the total price. When you book online, you will automatically receive a calculation of the necessary down payment. The down payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
5. When will I receive my booking confirmation?
After successfully completing your down payment, you will receive your booking confirmation via email within the next 24 hours (excluding weekends). We will contact you by telephone or by telephone should any problems arise with your booking or any of the information you have provided. If you are not notified by email or telephone, please contact us per email or call us at +34 93 452 1315. Your booking isn't confirmed until you have received your booking confirmation.
6. When will I be informed of the owner's contact information and the property's exact location?
The booking confirmation contains all pertinent information relating to your reservation, including the contact information for the owner and/or key holder and detailed instructions on how to get to the property. You will finalise the contractual proceedings with the property owner directly. The North Spain Villas staff are here to help you should you require any assistance in contacting the owner or key holder.
7. When and how do I pay the remainder of the total price?
At the latest, the remaining sum will have to be paid 60 days prior to your arrival date. You can pay the sum by bank transfer or by credit card – in case of a credit card payment, please be aware that this incurs a 2.5% transaction fee to cover bank costs. You are responsible for paying any and all fees associated with the bank transfer. If payment has not been received 60 days prior to the arrival date, the reservation may be cancelled.
8. What are check-in and check-out times for the property?
Arrival: the property is available after 5pm on your day of arrival.
Departure: you are asked to leave the property by 10am on your day of departure and deliver the keys to the owner or key holder.
9. What is the amount and purpose of the security deposit that I have to provide?
At the time of your arrival, you are required to provide the owner with a security deposit to cover any possible damages to the property (for villas for up to 7 people this amounts to 150 EUR, for villas for more than 7 people this amounts to 300 EUR and for villas for more than 18 people this amounts to 500 EUR). If the property is found to be in an acceptable condition at the time of your departure, your security deposit will be returned to you.
10. Do I have to pay for the final cleaning of the property and how often is the property cleaned during my stay?
The final cleaning is included in the total price. The property is cleaned before your arrival, but the total price does not include any additional cleaning service during your stay.
11. What are the arrival and departure days? Is there a minimum amount of days required for a stay?
Generally, arrivals and departures take place on Saturdays. There are some properties that do check-in and check-out on Fridays. You can find more detailed information on this matter on each property's specific calendar. If your travel dates do not coincide with the arrival/departure days of the property, please contact us or call us at +34 93 452 1315 so that we can inform you about whether it is possible to make an exception. Generally, the minimum stay is 1 week, but exceptions can also be made with regards to this matter.
12. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations: payments that have already been made are usually non-refundable. If you have already paid the total price in full, and it is possible to fill the period of your reservation with another renter, then 80% of the total price will be refunded to you.
