This property sleeps 4, and is one of 4 recently converted C12th buildings on an organic farm, set in wonderful countryside, about 2km from the nearest village Castellterçol. With all the conversions care has been taken to combine original features such as the wooden beams and create a perfect balance between comfort and style. The 4 units combined can sleep up to 27 people (see also V117, V119, V120) and are situated away from the owner’s house and main farm buildings. Each unit has of course its own private entrance, terrace and privacy.This is the smallest and cosiest unit consisting of the oldest part of the original „Masía“, The floor in the hallway, for instances has literally been gouged out of a huge rock... and the old stone-walls, and original beams have also been restored and accentuated. There is a comfortable living-dining room with a TV and a sofa, a big table and an open-plan, well equipped kitchen including also a coffee machine and a toaster. There are 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) and a 1 complete bathroom. In front of the house there is a garden table and chairs where you can enjoy your meals and the lovely views across the beautiful countryside.
The grounds and facilities are shared with all the guests of the 4 units, including 2 washing machines for units to share. The swimming pool (10 x 5 m) is about 50 m from this villa and there is a big lawn with sun beds and sunshades too. In a separate part of the garden there is a large barbeque-area with furniture. This organic working farm is perfect for families with children who will enjoy all the animals such as geese, hen, sheep and cows (all the animals are kept a good distance away from the accommodation). The organic food products can also be bought on the farm or from the shop in the village.

This huge property is only 2 km from the nearest village, Castellterçol, where you can find all kind of amenities like a shop, a restaurant and a bar. The owners of this property also have a shop in this village where they sell the organic products produced on their farm. The farm is located in lovely countryside and gorgeous views over the valley and the village Castellterçol.Sports addicts and nature fans will be equally happy in these surroundings – From just outside the front door there are great routes for walking, climbing, biking and – a little further away – horseriding, paragliding or Golf.
The location of these villas is also perfect for people who wish to visit the wonderful city of Barcelona, which is just 50 km away. The nearest beaches on the Maresme north Barcelona are also just 50 km from here and the beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava not much further.

We did have a really good time at the Villa. It was perhaps a little more remote than I had expected, but that might just be because I didn't read the information properly. The things that initially caused concern were the bees around the pool and the fact that the accomodation was permanently inhabited by flies. We soon got over these problems and had a great time. The access road was very rough and we had some concerns about damage to the hire car. However we did not sustain any damage. OVERALL I would definately recommend it to others. D.C. 30.07.2005
